Layer provenance
Which layers are observed and which are modeled
- Roster — actual. 226 member companies and 519 locations from the Furniture First buying-group membership list. Locations sharing an address or ZIP are intentionally kept separate.
- Location pins — approximate. ZIP centroid, with city centroid fallback. Not surveyed storefront coordinates.
- Weather — observed. Daily history from the Open-Meteo historical archive, January 1, 2025 through the last completed day. No forecast data, and today is never included.
- Foot traffic — modeled. Deterministic Modeled Foot Traffic, not measured door counts.
- Sales — modeled demo data. Derived from Modeled Foot Traffic. No Furniture First POS data is connected.
Modeled Sales — Demo Data. Demo sales figures are derived from Modeled Foot Traffic using deterministic store-level conversion, average-ticket, calendar, promotional and seasonal characteristics. No Furniture First POS data is currently connected. Conversion and average ticket are reported against modeled qualified shopping parties, a disclosed subset of door-count visits.
